Pizza pasta e basta (Caldè)

We had a wonderful meal here. The food (pizza) was delicious and well-prepared. The service was really good. It's a shame the tiramisu was gone ;-) If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful staff, exquisitely gallant, a special place in a very intimate place by the lake, the pizza was a soft yet crunchy spectacle even when it began to cool. I spent lunch time in a magical way, especially when the sun suddenly came out...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had lunch at Pizza Pasta e Basta in Caldè, on Lake Maggiore, and we had a truly wonderful time! There were three of us: my husband, me, and our dog 🐶. We ordered two first courses and two homemade desserts: everything was delicious, prepared with care and using quality ingredients. The staff was kind and welcoming, and they even paid special attention to our dog, immediately bringing him a bowl of fresh water. A perfect place for a relaxing break with a lake view and excellent food. We'll definitely be back!

The food was excellent, the atmosphere by the lake was fantastic, and the staff were very competent and friendly. My daughter was able to eat a pizza there despite her celiac disease. She ordered it "senza glutine" (gluten-free), and the staff were perfectly knowledgeable... The child was happy.

We quietly celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here with a pizza. It was truly delicious. What the other guests had on their tables looked pretty good, too. It seems to be pretty busy here in general, so it's probably a good idea to make a reservation during peak season. The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was truly wonderful. It was a lovely evening.

A great Italian pizza and pasta restaurant, just what you could wish for! We were here for lunch at a rather quiet time; everything was top-notch, and the pizzas were truly delicious. The price for two people (€30 total) is reasonable; the location/view is fantastic, and the cappuccino is also excellent! Addendum: a delicious house wine (red/white) would have been perfect!

During a short vacation in Caldè we dined in this restaurant for 5 nights, the first time by chance and then because we enjoyed it obviously. The place is enchanting, with a lake view and the most external tables are really just a stone's throw from the water. Very kind and very efficient staff! It was the week of August and the restaurant was indeed very full but despite this the service was always quick and courteous. Let's get to the food, the place is called Pizza pasta e basta... well for 4 nights out of 5 we drew from the "basta" menu in fact: veal with tuna sauce, tagliata with rocket and parmesan, Milanese cutlets and various salads... everything always very good, with a personal preference for the tagliata. The last night we tried a pasta, a pizza and dessert, good. A bit of confusion regarding the wine list between the various denominations: Metodo classico, Prosecco, Franciacorta ... in any case good labels and with honest prices for being in a restaurant. If we are in the area again we will definitely return.

A perfect little restaurant right on the harbor with a beautiful view of the lake. My pasta all'amatriciana was divine. If you just want pizza and pasta, this is the place to go. We managed to get a table on Saturday without an appointment.

Impeccable drink preparation and service! Delicious pizza! Extremely friendly staff. For me, Caldè is the most beautiful place on Lake Maggiore! I'll be back soon with great pleasure!

Nice restaurant with a terrace right on the lake - wonderful view. Extremely friendly and fast service - for people and dogs. Very tasty food - starter, main course and dessert were great! Happy to come back!
